The first thing you notice about the 412 Bait Co. grub is its extra-fat tail. It's made that way by design.
The extra body in the tail maximizes water disturbance. Simply put, it creates a lot of fish-attracting commotion.
The grub can be fished as a trailer with swim jig or spinnerbait. It can also be fished alone, though, sort of like a weedless buzzbait. Some anglers like to throw it out alone, then rip it back, making the tail give off lots of ''thump.''
