If you've got any of those - or better yet, all together - that's the time to fish lipless crankbaits like the Fulk Custom Vibe.
The narrow, deep-bodied lure is meant to mimic a crayfish, shad, bluegill or other baitfish. Cast the bait out near grass and retrieve it so that the lure rides just above the vegetation, occasionally "ticking" the top of the grass as it goes by.
And if you get hung up? Try sharply jerking the rod tip up once or twice to not only free the lure, but also sometimes trigger strikes from hungry bass.
This lure weighs in at a 1/2 ounce.
